About Lyon Ranch Beef
At Lyon Ranch Beef we take pride in raising and marketing home-raised premium Angus beef. As the sixth generation to ranch in Lyon Township, Brule County South Dakota. We bring decades worth of experience in beef production, and are extremely dedicated to what we do. Over the years our ranch has become as diversified as one could be within the beef industry. A full spectrum cow-calf operation specializing in developing yearlings, producing and retaining bulls, marketing highly maternal bred heifers. As well as backgrounding and finishing both home-raised and customer-owned cattle at our feedyard. We take pride in the genetic foundation of our herd which is backed by 50 years of Artificial Insemination, bringing the most progressive maternal, performance, and carcass quality traits in the world from our pastures to your plate. The next link in the chain of progress is direct- to-consumer beef sales, where we will be offering the front end of our home-raised beef directly to our customers. Our core offerings will include whole, half, or quarter beef packages, premium retail cuts (ribeye, sirloin, brisket, ground beef, etc.), and beef bundles.
